Hello hello!

Today was a day full of sessions for me but luckily I was able to sneak away for an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon to Madison Square Park. Here I found an interesting exhibition they have going on by Orly Genger. It's named "Red, Yellow and Blue" and it's pretty cool! She took a lot, and I mean A LOT of rope (1.4 Million feet of it), covered it in 3,000 gallons of paint and somehow made them stand in waves across the park. Something you have to see for yourself, but here is a little preview!

Well the first weekend of June is over and yes, it's June already! This year is almost half way over but the warm weather is just beginning. And with that, come the weekend adventures. I am very excited to explore all new, and some old, places this summer. My first was a place I have never been to before even though I live 10 minutes away. Flushing Meadows - Corona Park. F. Scott Fitzgerald referred to this place as "the valley of ashes" in The Great Gatsby, reason being, it use to be a dumping ground! Walking through the park today, one would never know. It's right on the water, there is space for people to barbeque, tennis courts, skate parks, boat rentals, and of course the famous New York Sate Pavilion and the Unisphere. The park is clean, full of fun things to do and there is a nice breeze from the water that feels great on a hot summer day. Here are some pics I took on our walk in the park today.
