Sarah & Chris' Engagement in Astoria Park
Meet Sarah and Chris. They are getting married! We have known this couple for a very long time and have witnessed this love blossom through the years. We have all been friends since our golden college years and that is where these two met. Chris had his heart set on Sarah from the very beginning and I think it's safe to say that when he wants something, he is going to get it. It's hard not to smile while being around these two. The entire session was filled with laughter. The love their share truly shines where even others can feel its warmth. We are so overjoyed for you guys and so honored you asked us to capture this amazing time in your lives. Congratulations on the amazing journey you are about to embark on together. We can't wait to celebrate!!!
Our Special Day
So it's been a little over two months and life has been a bit hectic. But I finally got the time to go through all my wedding photos and wanted to share some with you. Our incredible photographer Sarah Tew - http://www.sarahtewphotography.com/ - captured the most amazing moments of our special day in such a beautiful and natural way we could not have been happier with the results. I love that every time I look at these photos the feelings from that day come right back. Feelings of joy, excitement, butterflies, just pure happiness. I wish I could do it everyday, I am so happy to be spending the rest of my life with this man. These past two months although busy and hectic have truly been full of love and joy.
Maternity Shoot in the park :: Kelly and Wellington
This past weekend was so beautiful ! We were so excited to spend the day at the park so we were really looking forward to shooting Kelly and Wellington at Fort Tryon Park in Washington Heights. They are the sweetest couple and are so filled with joy expecting their very first child, you could see it in the photos. This shoot was a lot of fun for us and it was so nice spending some time with this awesome couple.

So last weekend I got to shoot my best friend's sister and her family. It was the silliest most fun shoot and the weather was so calm and cozy. We went to Astoria park and it was barely work really. Having my bff there we just walked the park and scouted out the cutest places we could find. Michelle was accompanied by her boyfriend Maon and her son Sean. Sean, by the way is the best poser I have gotten to shoot yet. I think he had the most fun of all of us. Here are some shots from last saturday .
Surprise Family/Engagement shoot
Yesterday Greg and I had the pleasure of shooting a family we worked with last year. Nairobi and her son Jake had us shoot their family christmas card portrait along with her two siblings. This time, Nairobi had great news, she is engaged to her long time boyfriend Franklin! She wanted to have a Carrie Bradshaw feel to the shoot and boy did she succeed. I mean, have you seen a more fabulous outfit? We started off on a cute little park on 174th street in Washington Heights with an awesome view of the George Washington Bridge. We also started with a mock ring because Nairobi was still waiting for the real thing. After a quick little session in that park, we trucked our way down to Fort Washington Park under the bridge. Here, while we were shooting the couple in front of the river, Franklin surprised us all by getting down on one knee and presenting Nairobi with a stunning diamond engagement ring. It made our day. It was the most romantic moment Greg and I had ever had the pleasure of capturing. Congratulations to such a fun and great couple and a beautiful family.
