Three Days in Boston - Day 3 - Taylor
We had the pleasure of spending the morning shooting this beauty as she showed us around her favorite neighborhood in Boston. Beacon Hill. I fell IN LOVE with this little corner of the city. I mean - who can resist it? the cobble stone streets, the brownstones, the cute little shops! I had been to Boston a few times before this trip but this was my first time visiting Beacon Hill and I can't wait to go back.
Three Days in Boston - Day 2
I took way too many photos in Boston but I couldn't help it - It's a very photogenic city.
We woke up day 2 and hit the road in search for some Dim Sum - so China town it was! You think Boston is busy everywhere else .. that is until...
you hit up China town.
Dim Sum was the only thing in our agenda this day. To be honest, there is so much to do in Boston that it can be good to not have an itinerary. So after lunch we just walked around. We walked the entire day actually. From China town to the Boson Commons, from the commons to the seaport, Down by the waterfront to Quincy Market and from Quincy Market back to the North end. Needless to say - we slept like babies that night. Tired and very, very happy.
Three Days in Boston - Day 1
When Greg told me he'd get a few days off at the end of March - I immediately thought - let's go somewhere!
Lucky for us, we live only 2.5 hours from one of our favorite little cities. So Boston for the weekend was a no-brainer.
We took the AMTRAK from Portland to Boston and omg - I might never drive to Boston again. It was so quick, there was a cafe with breakfast and coffee and outlets to plug in so I totally got some work in! Highly recommend taking the train and I will definitely do it again.
Next we checked into our hotel in East Cambridge which was a short UBER ride from the North Station. The Kimpton Marlowe is adorable, so comfortable and pet friendly!
Our first stop has been on my list for about a year now and it was worth the wait.
The Isabella Stewart Gardiner Museum is. a. MUST. when in Boston. We could have stayed there all day. I sort of wish we did. Multiple levels of beautiful art curated by this family and the courtyard! Absolute perfection. I am so happy we finally made it here and I just want to keep going back.

Did I mention their beautiful little green house? Oh yeah you can eat in the cutest cafe there too. It totally reminds me of something out of a Wes Anderson movie.
A short walk from the Museum (to our surprise) was Fenway park. We aren't huge sports fans (shocker i know) but we do love visiting important
parts of a city's history and let's face it, the history in this field can be felt the second you arrive.
We hopped around a couple of bars here :
1. Beerworks Brewing Co. - food + drink and an adorable photo booth!
2. Bleacher Bar -full bar under the bleachers at Fenway. It also has a chain link fence open to center field. I can't even imagine what
this bar is like on game days.
3. The Cheeky Monkey - I LOVED this place. It's the kind of bar that you can dress up for but has fun games like billiards, ping pong,
shuffle board etc. The bartenders are so friendly and super knowledgeable and they have a great blueberry beer
(i'm not a huge fan of fruity tasting beers but a *GOOD blueberry beer really gets me)
For dinner we hit up the North end and ate at the MOST delicious Italian restaurant:
I have ZERO photos of the food here because we were starving and it was just TOO GOOD. Delicious find & Authentic Italian experience. All I have is a pic of me in a state of a food coma. lol
